How does EFT work?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also know as Tapping, is a self-help process that can be used to clear anxiety, phobias, cravings, pain and the negative emotions attached to trauma. By tapping on specific meridian points on the body whilst tuning into the issue, you can help to bring your mind and body back into balance.

Being able to explore this technique with a qualified practitioner allows you to be guided through the process, helping to uncover the root of the issue and to clear it. Once you get the hang of it, you might find you can successfully guide yourself through these techniques!

  • Recognise it.

    When you become aware of a pattern or emotion you have the ability to change it.

  • Action it.

    Now you get to DO something about it. Start tapping and be open to what unfolds.

  • Process it.

    After a few rounds or as you feel a softening or a weakening of that emotion, just sit.

  • Repeat it.

    This is a tool that will serve you in so many ways, it’s not a quick fix but it sure is effective.
